Workshop
Sourdough Made Simple
A hands-on beginner workshop
There’s something special about real bread. Flour, water, salt, time and care — made slowly, the way it used to be.
If sourdough has ever felt intimidating, confusing, or just not for you, this workshop was created with you in mind.
Sourdough Made Simple is a welcoming, hands-on class designed to gently guide you through the sourdough process — without pressure, perfection, or complicated rules. My goal is for you to leave feeling confident, capable, and excited to bake real bread at home.
No experience required. No fancy equipment. Just curiosity, good conversation, and dough under your hands.
What You'll Learn
Together, we’ll walk through the sourdough process from the very beginning, including:
What sourdough really is and why it’s different from store bought bread
How to feed, care for, and understand your starter
Fermentation and timing (in a way that actually makes sense)
Mixing, stretching, and shaping dough
What to look for as your dough develops
Baking sourdough successfully in a home oven
How to make sourdough fit into everyday life — not the other way around
This workshop isn’t about chasing the perfect loaf. It’s about learning a skill you can carry with you — one that feeds your people and connects you to your food.
